The Death Note. A book that kills people by writing their names in it. How did a normal teenager get his hands on this? When Ryuuku, a Shinigami (God of Death) decides to drop his Death Note in the human world, Raito, an excellent student and all around normal guy, finds it. He soon discovers by writing a persons name inside of this book, it will kill that person. Raito decides to use this power to punish criminals, but will he have to use it on innocent people when the entire police force begins searching for him?!

ABOUT LIGHT YAGAMI

Light Yagami (夜神 月, Yagami Raito), also known as Kira and the second L, is the protagonist of the manga and anime series Death Note. He is an extremely intelligent, but bored, young man who finds Ryuk's Death Note by sheer chance.
